Control Console
The console was engineered as a direct replacement for the existing system, with a focus on reducing hydraulic complexity and improving system reliability. The design incorporates a single HAWE proportional valve (PSV) and a consolidated manifold, eliminating the need for multiple inline valves and associated pipework. This approach significantly reduces the number of hydraulic connections and potential leak paths, thereby enhancing system integrity and simplifying maintenance requirements.
Furthermore, the console is fully enclosed within a protective housing, providing ingress protection against adverse marine conditions. This enclosure not only ensures the longevity of critical hydraulic components but also enhances operator safety by minimising exposure to high-pressure systems.
