CASE STUDY
Twin 110Kw HPU
No job is too big for team Hyserve...
We recently manufactured a twin 110kW Hydraulic Power Unit, with a main flow rate of 460 L/min up to 280 bar, and a boost flow rate of 140L/min up to 30 bar.
Perhaps what was most interesting about this particular HPU, was that the system was fully enclosed with an impressive 2400L tank – making it one of our largest projects to date!
Manufactured for marine installation, the design incorporated remote IO to allow remote starting and monitoring functionality. We also ensured the required cleanliness levels could be achieved, and water could be extracted from the oil, via an offline filtration unit.
Two seawater coolers were also factored into to the design, in order to allow the HPU to run for extended periods of time.
The entire project was completed in house and designed according to DNV 2.7-3 Operational Class R3. It was then fabricated by our in-house Fabrications Specialist, before being commissioned by our team of technicians.
